Not a huge fan of Transferring Snapshots. Especially if it causes downtime. I wish the entire Droplet was transferable. :(

    Hopefully this comes soon.

A droplet might have a volume and a floating IP, both need to be transferred as well.

Came here to request this feature. Happy there are others interested in it as well - would be super useful for me!

This is definitely required. All data, snapshots, floating IPs, domains - the whole lot. Power down the droplets (all of them at once) ready for the whole lot of servers or just a bunch to be migrated to another team.

Also, along with snapshots, floating IPs need to be shared between teams. I did some dev work on a client's site on my own account, then transferred it to their account. It was a royal pain.

Additional Comment: The current recommended solution is to transfer a snapshot between accounts. This can be problematic if you want to avoid down time for your web service. It also means waiting for the DNS to resolve to the new server location.

Currently when you transition your account from an individual account to a team account.

This can be problematic if you have multiple teams already set up on your individual account.

This feature would also be useful to move a server to a clients site when your ready to move it into production if you offer free proof of concept hosting like I do.

I'm told we can "move these droplets between accounts using our snapshot transfer feature, but note in doing so it's IP address will change so there would be some downtime for this event."

While moving the droplets via snapshot is a pain, actually any change of IP addresses may have unpredictable consequences and just not worth it.
