Sorry to hear you aren't a fan of the new blue we're using. Our brand design team put a lot of time, thought, and effort in the decision including soliciting feedback throughout the process. (e.g. https://twitter.com/digitalocean/status/730093800178262016). Along with the new logo, it is just an evolution of our look, but we think it captures the simplicity in design that we strive for.
We're really happy with where we landed, but you can never please everyone. Our look will continue to evolve, but in the meantime I hope the product stands for itself, no matter what shade of blue.
