Hi Zachary, First of all I want to thank you for the thoughtful feedback. It has been read by a lot of us here at DO, including our co-founders! We value you both as a customer for years and as an active member of our community. UserVoice is a valuable tool for us, but it is only one piece in the process of prioritizing what we build. We use surveys, user interviews, support tickets, and many other methods to gather feedback to inform or roadmap. We are keenly aware of the challenges our customers face scaling out their infrastructure and our current focus is delivering a core set of features that allow developers to easily build anything from a single Droplet application to a SaaS business spanning hundreds of Droplets. Delivering Block Storage and Floating IPs this year is just the start of an aggressive schedule to meet the needs of our fast-growing customer base. There are a number of exciting new features nearing release to ensure our customers can build highly scalable, performant and secure applications. We'd be delighted for you to help us beta test these upcoming features of our platform! We also continue to iterate on and improve our existing features. For example, we recently delivered the ability to take Snapshots without shutting down your running Droplet and the ability to add Backups to existing Droplets; both features were highly requested here on UserVoice. We’ll be rolling Snapshots for Block Storage volumes in the near future as well. As you can imagine, there are many features we need to prioritize and the feedback that we get from our users helps guide our thinking. Thank you again for taking the time to put this together and share it with us. We look forward to continuing the conversation! Best, Julia Austin, CTO

Thanks for your reply but this doesn't answer any of the issues listed minus snapshotting block storage. I also have never received a survey inquiring about existing features which have faults in them such as IPv6. Many people want to see fairly easy to implement things like DNS TTL and bulk DNS editing in addition to other things like lower droplet pricing to follow the current market for VPS'. There were many issues in that thread that should also be fixed before releasing more products on a broken system. For example: Producing more types of droplets and allowing more droplets creation on the current IPv6 setup will make it harder to move everyone to /64's much harder as you are increasing the number of things on the current system. The only surveys I have received from DO in the past have been for block storage. Block storage is great but you have many other issues that harm scaling with DO. DDoS being one of them. You get a large site and someone gets mad at you for something, DDoS is a very easy solution to their problems if they are on DO. All they have to do is give it a quick 1Gbps spike and their system is knocked out for 3 hours. You should be addressing issues like that because that is a scaling issue.
