IPv6 MX DNS

DigitalOcean DNS - IPv6 MX Records

This is my configuration for a Twitter-specific mail server I run in the London DO DC.

MX twitter.maxsaxedesign.co.uk 138.68.162.84
MX twitter.maxsaxedesign.co.uk tw.mail.maxsaxedesign.co.uk
AAAA twitter.maxsaxedesign.co.uk 2a03:b0c0:d0::146:e001
AAAA tw.mail.maxsaxedesign.co.uk 2a03:b0c0:d0::146:e001
A twitter.maxsaxedesign.co.uk 178.62.121.41
A tw.mail.maxsaxedesign.co.uk 138.68.162.84

I am unable to configure IPv6 MX records on DigitalOcean DNS and Fasthosts DNS (need to pester them too).

I have found a way round the issue.
Point the MX to a subdomain which has A and AAAA records tied to the subdomain. This way it will be forwarded for the MX to use.

MX > A > IPv4 address
MX > AAAA > IPv6 address
twitter.maxsaxedesign.co.uk > tw.mail.maxsaxedesign.co.uk > 138.68.162.84
twitter.maxsaxedesign.co.uk > tw.mail.maxsaxedesign.co.uk > 2a03:b0c0:d0::146:e001

I should not have to do this convoluted workaround. Please may DigitalOcean add IPv6 MX DNS resolution?
