I would like to show a custom error page (i.e. for an 503 error) to my customers. Can't do this rn without setting up a custom load balancer droplet.
I've tried a workaround for this, pointing the loadbalancer at a spun up droplet from an image, that serves the static page, but the 503 error status code is picked up by the load balancer, and the droplet is ignored. The load balancer shows its own generic 503 to state that there are no droplets to serve the request.
Using a 200 response for the maintenance page is 'alright' but definitely not the ideal implementation. (many customers use the status code to determine maintenance mode or not)
