allow client resize the /dev/hda

I try to resize the one HD of /dev/hda to couple of partitions, one for Sys, one for data, one for backup, but system won't let me do that, and said error:

File system has an incompatible feature enabled.

I too would like to use custom partition schemes for droplets. What about setting the disk up using LVM or extend the User Data mechanism to allow for partitioning?

I also am interested in this from a security standpoint. It's important to keep world-writeable places like /tmp and any user data on separate partitions. These partitions should have the options set that prevent code execution. Please consider providing some sort of recovery kernel which allows the user to repartition their disk.

    Moisey,
I understand the reason to make a unique partition for all space, but, i need some way to limit and prevent the risk off stop by a full disk problem.
Digital Ocean have some way to do this, in a single partition?
    Thanks

We allocate the entire partition to the user so there is no way to resize it.

This is to minimize the complexity of the virtual server that users receive.

    Thanks,
