Great System - Would love to see TurnKey Linux images available

I love your system.. Very very easy, and extremely cost competitive compared to other systems.

I would love to see TurnKey Linux Images to choose from.. Other than that, I cannot think of a better cloud provider!!!

Thank you!

I need something that's as easy as as EC2 ready-to-use instances, especially if it can up-to-date versions of systems similar to what Bitnami does. I think Turnkey is a great alternative. Perhaps Docker is reasonable approach, except that it's still too fiddly than a "one-click" solution. Unless you could make it a one-click through some kind of partner ship and some custom scripting. PS, I know I'm whining, but I like to keep easy things easy and I think this kinda of solution could be easy (at least for users).

Please add http://www.turnkeylinux.org/ <-- Turnkeylinux if you can, more people would vote for this feature if the knew about it. Who wouldn't want one click server setup?

I agree. It will beat to have the possibility to use turnkeylinux appliances in digitalocean.

Please let us use TKL on DigitalOcean! This would be the best thing ever! Currently the only advantage of EC2 over DO is the myriad of images ready to go and the security/firewall feature which is not that important to me...

I've given this +3 votes but I should also disclose that I am heavily involved with Turnkey Linux...!

@DigitalOcean Admins - FWIW Turnkey provides a number of different formats including ISO, OVZ, VMDK (which should run pretty easy on KVM) and Xen so whatever your backend Turnkey Linux has you covered with over 100 ready-to-run prebuilt appliances! :)

+1 - Turnkey offers ISOs that are real easy to run- choose the ISO with the "appliance" you want (e.g. LAMP, owncloud, SFTP/SAMBA server, etc. I believe there are over 100) which are approx 200MB each, then setup installs OS and GRUB, then on next reboot you setup all passwords (root, webmin, phpmyadmin, etc) and the install is done, you have a fully functional Server of your choosing.

I strongly support the Turnkey Linux ideea until the custom linux iso mechanism is available.

At least the core so we can build on it.

The default Debian images available now on *DO* are kind of problematic as far as i built on them.

Thanks for the feedback we are running some private beta tests that will allow customers to import various Linux images from ISOs automatically, but there are a lot of things to account for in that.
