Entering token every time I login is a bit tedious. Adding an option to remember a computer for the period of, let's say 30 days, like Gmail does, would be nice.
The option to bypass my second factor for 30 days per browser makes working with Google Cloud, Linode, etc much nicer. Can we show some love to our security conscious 2FA users and provide the same option at DO?
3 days, 7 days, 1 month and permanently are most appropriate. they can use a flag cookie for this, and let it expires once the respective time passes.
how about request 2FA everytime the ip/browser changed and/or a time limit like 7 days and/or 24 hours
the current token limit is soo short and will annoy people into wanting to turn 2FA off!
the best would been a option to configure what you want, either logged inn with browser or when ip changed or x days/x hours
Yes! I want this too!
Either permanently remember the browser or do it for xx days. (I would be very happy with at least 7)
Agree - sometimes I need to log in 4 times a day, which gets a bit tedious - find the phone, open the app, scroll down, click, read code, paste code, log in....
Just about every other 2FA service I use manages to remember you've logged in, (except Cloudflare, although they seem to at least remember you for a day).
7 Days will be also fine. Just, Don't ask token each time.
Totally agree, is time consuming login again and again... provide a session that last for at least one week should be nice.
