Change the location a DNS record points at via the API

We currently have this option in the GUI, but, with the API we have to do a really long connection procedure of deleting DNS records and re-adding them with the exact same settings but a different IP. Can we please have something like /domains/[domain_ID]/records/modify which we give the record ID and the new IP?

    Admin Response

Hi! We recently launched the public beta for version 2 of our API. It now allows you to update individual records using the `/v2/domains/$DOMAIN_NAME/records/$RECORD_ID` endpoint. Check out the docs: https://developers.digitalocean.com/v2/#update-a-domain-record While the beta is on-going, we’re looking for as much feedback as possible. If there’s anything else you’d like to see in the API, please open an issue over on our GitHub page: http://do.co/APIv2_feedback Thanks!
