Do not bait and switch your customers.

Brad, you yourself said in ticket number 36199 that you could. This is the conversation:

You: Hello,

We can definitely raise your droplet limit. Although, the process is slightly different when using PayPal as the payment method.

For PayPal users, We require that you add $5 per droplet you would like your limit increased to. For example, if you want your droplet limit increased to 10, we require $25 credit to be added to your account, to cover the additional 5 droplets added to your limit.

Alternatively, you can add a valid credit card to your account, and we can simply proceed with the verification below, and no up-front payment.


me: No problem. Can we add an additional 10 and I will send 50 dollars?


That will be fine, just reply to the ticket once you have added the PayPal credit.

Can you explain this? This was a bait and switch. I complied with your request to prefund my account in exchange for a raised drop limit, and you then refused to raise the limit. How can I escalate this?

    Adding a credit card we can verify the account and raise the droplet limit accordingly. For Paypal since there is no way for us to withdraw funds we request that customers always keep a credit on the account. If you requested a limit raise we may request that you send additional funds and that can also vary depending on the size of the droplets that you create, as larger sized droplets will require a larger payment to get the limit raised. While we understand this can be frustrating for customers unfortunately we deal with a large amount of abusive and fraudulent signups so we've had to implement these measures to ensure that our platform isn't flooded with abusive users. Thanks!

    I had my limit raised... now on 25... but I find this stupid, saying they'll raise then not doing as planned.

    I think this "droplet limit" issue, could be solved pre-funding or pre-paying a droplet.
    I have the same issue.
