DO Ideas 2

Please introduce a payment method for Indian customers.

I have created Digital Ocean account but can't start the droplet until and unless I made a payment. I have also got 10$ credit in my account.

The problem is paypal doesn't accept Indian debit cards. I still can't believe that I can't send a small amount of money across borders in this age.

Please do something in this regards. I have applied for credit card( and I hope Indian credit card work with Digital Ocean. ) but I will have to wait another month for it to arrive at my doorstep. I really can't wait to use Digital Ocean.

Many Indians have Billing Problem in DO
Many Payment Gateway in India Dosn't Support DO
And Not even Paypal . Many Indians own a Rupay Debit Card or a Mastero, Visa Debit Card wich don't have International Usages Activated
I suggest to add Indian Payment Gateways ..
    Please Check the Link :
    https://paytm.com/business/payments/online
    Paytm is India Paypal
Paytm is Mobile Transfer Accepted all over India And many has it.
It is the fastest way for Payment in India ...

I think Digital Ocean's need to launch Payment gateway for Indian users because Digital Ocean not support Indian bank account or debit card like State Bank of India, Canera Bank, IDBI Bank, Bank of India, Punjab National Bank etc. Almost 90% users of india are Students or Startups which start their Blog or Portal but they can not host their site on digital ocean because digital ocean only support international bank. so that digital ocean must need launch payment gateway for indian users.

@Moisey Nope. Even google wallet doesn't work. You can have a look at "CCAvenue".

Most Indians don't use credit cards and you cant operate Paypal in India without a credit card.
Its too hard. I have already explored half a dozens of payment methods like Visa debit cards, Entropay etc. none of them works.

    Hi

Well DO doesn't work with Indian Debit Cards.

I use my Debit card in many stuff from Airline billing to paying my VPS bills on other sites and it works on all of them. In Digital Ocean, it simply doesn't work. As far as India is concerned, most people here use Debit Cards and DO is not accepting Debit Cards from here.

I concur, more options are needed. Can't have paypal as the only option.

Please add some payment option for Indian users(Like Net banking or via Debit card by using services like Billdesk,We will never mind if you will raise the price for us by some bucks still it will be cheaper for us),I was eager to use Digital ocean for months first when i tried a debit card(Master Card) it wasn't accepted,Later i tried it on paypal no luck there too,Later they(Paypal) told me to get another Debit card.... i got it and but when i used it once again failed to pay from that one too....
It's really Frustrating..........Our Government and RBI had ruined almost everything that even in 21st century it's too hard for us to pay internationally....
Please add some more options for us.....
And please don't deny us by giving some lame excuses,we want to use your Service and you will surely get huge number of customers in India as your service is great at least it looks...

We've integrated a new payment processor: BrainTree, which has much better support for international credit cards so if you try to add it again it should work without issue.

    Thanks!

Have you tried calling your bank/credit card company to see if the transaction was automatically flagged.

Often internet transactions from another country are flagged by the credit card as fraudulent because there is no payment history and with a recurring payment there is no CVV value provided.

If you like please open a ticket regarding this and we can troubleshoot your account directly.

    Thanks
