Cache Image name in Droplet for API

I came across an issue with your API today. If I create a snapshot, rebuild a server with this snapshot and then delete the snapshot, the image_id no longer points to an Image for that endpoint. This is fine since I realise you need to remove the image, however it would be useful to add the image name to the droplet endpoint so we still have a useful name representation for the image currently running on a Droplet.

    Admin Response

Hi! We recently released version 2 of our API into public beta. The droplet end point now returns much more information, including the name and distribution of the image used to create it. Check out the documentation: https://developers.digitalocean.com/#droplets While the beta is on-going, we’re looking for as much feedback as possible. If there’s anything else you’d like to see in the API, please open an issue over on our GitHub page: http://do.co/APIv2_feedback Thanks!
