Migrate the Q&A section to Google Groups

Currently, the search function is limited to thread titles. Also, several D.O. customers have complained in the past about not being able to subscribe to a thread that interests them or in which they've posted a question.

I've been a member of a few Google Groups: Vagrant; Puppet-users; Foreman users; SOGo; for a short while and it's been nice being able to search old threads (in their entirety, i.e. not just the titles, whenever I have a question). Most of the time, I'm able to find an answer w/o needing to actually post my question.

    Admin Response

There have been lots of updates to the community Q&A site in the mean time, and we have big plans. We're going in a very different direction than Google Groups. If there's individual features you're missing on the site, please open specific feature requests. Thanks for the feedback!

Using Google Groups would decrease popularity of DigitanOcean domain.
    I'm against it.

I don't have experience w/Discourse; but another option is Vanilla community forum software (and it's open source): http://vanillaforums.org/

Horrible idea, Google Group is not that solid.

    I recommend using Discourse.
