Yes please! I'm working on an app, and it'd be a lot better for it be able to receive push (gcm?) notifications via some kind of api. I don't mind if I have to have my own server side endpoint to receive the events, so long as I can get them in some way.
Having Event based webhooks would be really great. We use them in Rundeck to alert us in Slack via webhooks when certain things happen. Adding event based webhooks to the API would be a really great way of reporting things like host up, destroy, etc.
This would be an amazing addition! I would love to have callback webhooks for actions. Use case: "When a droplet hits the state of `active` then it could post to a webhook, so that I don't have to poll the API constantly and use up the request limit/hr".
