This is best done through the API directly by just issuing a destroy after 24 hours. You can run a droplet that programmatically initiates these creates and then 24 hours later destroys. Thanks, Moisey

I would like to see this as well, don't use DO everyday, more like every other month and if I forget to spin down a droplet it does cost me. Something I actually did recently

There's a very simple work-around for this, so I don't see why DO would need to support this. Just use a cron-job to check if the 24h has passed and if so, destroy the droplet.

This'd be great for on-demand spin-up/spin-down, without having to remember to spin-down

Though, I could also see having a single droplet managing all the others with some form of cron job or similar
