make text entry fields in droplet setting more visible

Text entry fields in Droplet settings and other areas of the site apparently have a very light shade grey border, that I could not even see on my monitor unless I tilt my head to certain angle. This makes it more difficult to see those text fields altogether.
I understand and appreciate a need for clean design, but it would be nice to actually see the fields..
Perhaps, both design and function can be satisfied with some basic color-theme support?
Obviously, I could use Tampermonkey or some Userscripts type solution..

Also, on my system I have a dark theme set, which means the background is dark and the font is light.
Result: At this moment I can barely read what I'm typing, since your stylesheet (CSS) sets the background to be a light colour, but doesn't explicity set the font to a dark colour, which means it gets inherited from the rest of the system.
Solution: Add `color: black;` to your CSS.
