Improve error messages for declined credit cards

Just had a 20 minute, 5 email conversation with support because I got a generic "could not add card" message. They suggested things like the address being mistyped and even that my card type wouldn't work before they checked a log and found that the payment processor had said that the card number had been typed wrong - I'd checked this three times and still hadn't seen the mistake so it can happen.

If the information is available to someone that the card number was typed wrong it should be shown to the user - it would have saved 20 minutes of my time and the same of your support team's time.

    i can't add my visa credit card on billing. the error is 'Your card was declined'. so i don't by digital ocean droplets. plz, check my visa card information.

    i had the same problem yesterday, tried to add my credit card that i has already used before & the page just reloads with no errors shown, when i contact the support after hours & hours of delay, they just told me your card was declined by the bank, REALLY !! then why such an error wasn't available to me then. if i had known i wouldn't try that much :@ :@

    Same thing. Tried three months ago and had this issue, just tried again today with the same results. I guess digitalocean doesn't want our money.

    Definitely would be nice if we can actually see what's wrong, or which field is invalid.
