Private Networking on West Coast

Please bring Private Networking to SFO1. It's the only data centre lacking this much-needed feature.

I understand that the DigitalOcean crew is based out of New York and they love their East Coast setting. Why is the West Coast is not getting more love?

Geographically, I prefer to have my droplets on the West Coast (and in Canada would be even better!).

Please, bring Private Networking to SFO1. I need it for my deployments. Thank you.

It's not the only datacenter lacking this feature, and bringing it to SFO1 is not the only solution. For example, they could launch a second West Coast location that has the latest features, without affecting SFO1 at all. I'm sure upgrading an existing hosting setup is part of the reason this is taking so long... so much risk involved. But launching a brand new setup would be less risky.

I've been anxiously awaiting this feature for 9 months. I'm not interested in hosting from the East Coast when my clients are all on the West Coast. I know... that may sound overly-picky, but geographic proximity is critical to responsible internet usage... one of my company's architectural policies. Now, if DO would only come to Canada, then we'd be talking! :)
