Polish firms that has personal data (so… it's everything, username, first name, last name, address, etc.) needs to locate such data physically in Poland (law requirements) and provider (DO in this case) needs to have aggreement with GIODO ("Generalny Inspektor Ochrony Danych Osobowych" which means "General Inspector of Personal Data Security").
Actually this could be use mostly for such databases.
London and Frankfurt are around ~ 500 km away from Amsterdam but does it mean it is not worth to have DigitalOcean data centers there?
I agree with Jelle, why have a data centre less than 1,000 km away from an existing one?
