With affordable pricing and support for custom distributions, like Devuan, Linode is a better choice than DO.

Devuan 1.0 is now released as STABLE LTS.
I think it's time to get it in production also on DigitalOcean, it is also in top20 distributions worldwide according to distrowatch last month.

As of Apr 22, 2017, Devuan is 1.0 Release Candidate. It will just be a matter of weeks, perhaps, for an official "stable" release. This is a much needed distro for those of us needing a dependable OS like Debian but without that systemd plague.

I hope I could migrate my Debian Wheezy droplet to Devuan Jessie when it reaches his EOL.

Thanks for the suggestion. We will keep an eye on Devuan but at this time they report that the current versions are Alpha quality and not ready for production on their homepage.
