Multiple Assigned Accounts To A Single User

Just like how MailChimp separates users from accounts, it would be awesome if DigitalOcean would do it as if I am a freelancer and I require each of my clients to maintain an account on a hosting provider and then send me the credentials or an API key so I can control the account and setup what needs to be. But as I noticed, I personally use DigitalOcean but when I was messing around with the team accounts, it seems you cannot have two accounts tied to one user and then have a selector for which account you want to use. If this could get added in, it would be awesome.

    Admin Response

Hi Zachary, We just released some new features for Teams that should help. You can now create/join up to 10 teams at a time. In your case, your client could have a DigitalOcean account, create a Team and invite you as a Member or fellow Owner. If you are setting up the hosting for your client, you can also create a Team, invite the client as a fellow owner and relinquish ownership when your project is done. We hope this helps. Please take a look at the tutorial: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-use-teams-on-digitalocean Thanks for the great feedback!
