I agree, charging in Canadian dollars for Canadians makes sense, as you've already started charging applicable taxes to Canadian customers. I'd like to be able to forecast my costs, rather than deal with exchange rates which often create unplanned expenses.

I agree that Digital Ocean should find a way to charge in CAD. The CAD-USD exchange rate makes the "$5 servers" not so attractive once you start ramping up many of these "low-cost" servers. The value is drastically lessoned.

Credit cards typically charge additional fees on top of the currency conversion. It would be great to have Canadian pricing like AWS.

I'd like to see the hosting charged in Canadian dollars for Canadian customers especially as you have a Toronto office. It can be a pain dealing with Quickbooks and multi-currency transactions. Not so much when it's just a straightforward invoice, but as soon as you begin dealing with account credits due to prepayments it can be a real pain.

Seems like a no brainer to charge in the currency of the data centre location.

I understand the need to charge taxes, but to charge 13% on USD and then have it converted is a bit much. Already planning to migrate from DO. Such a shame. Great service.

I would like to at least see the currency exchange so I know what I will be billed. Actually charging in CAD would be ideal, but any sort of visualization of what we're actually paying would be fantastic!

charge the data centre's location country in the country's currency.
for example canada > canadian dollars (we loose too much to exchange rate atm)
