West Coast Canadian DataCenter

You just released your first DataCenter in Toronto, TOR1, which is incredibly awesome. Thank you for doing that. Helps us with our Canadian Enterprises concerned with data privacy.

I would love to have a Canadian DataCenter on the West Coast for quick response times, etc.

We're based out of Calgary (in the Oil and Gas sector) but I imagine Vancouver or close to there would be an ideal location.

Thank you from all of us Canucks!

We need one more DataCenter in Canada for both speed and redundancy. Our data cannot leave Canada, so having one near Vancouver and one near Toronto (TOR1) would be fantastic.

It seems that maybe something in Seattle or Oregon would be beneficial if they don't want to go into Canada. I would imagine there is a good amount of fiber running between Seattle and Vancouver so you'll close to an AWS datacenter for S3/Glacier.

I recently moved and set up several droplets at TOR1 and find the performance to be amazing. They stated that the Toronto data centre was running the latest, fastest server tech in all of the Digital Ocean! You'll be very happy with your droplets there. Let's not get too needy/greedy and let's enjoy what we now have.... official hosting inside the borders of Canada!

Either Calgary or Vancouver, I'm in Vancouver and Peer1 sound like a good place for "VAN1" :)
